Book of Philippians - Discipleship Explored
This month and next month, our sermon series is in the Book of Philippians. We will learn what it takes to be a follower of Jesus. We will come to understand how we can have confidence that Christ's work on the cross is our assurance that His work of salvation is sufficient for us to be saved.

Sunday Bible Study Service - 12pm
Join us this Sunday as we have our monthly Bible study service. A chance for us to talk about what we have learned over the month -
Join us for a church lunch afterwards.
Here are the questions we'll be looking at:
1. In verse 6, Paul assures the Philippians that their spiritual state is proof of God’s “good work” in them. He also insists that if God “began a good work” in them, he “will bring it to completion.” How might these statements be simultaneously confidence-building and pride-crushing?
2. Paul encourages the concerned Philippians by insisting that his imprisonment has actually helped the spread of the gospel, and he gives three examples to prove his point (vv. 12–18). Identify each of the encouraging examples, describing them in your own words. (Hint: one is in vv. 12–13, another in v. 14, and another in vv. 15–18).
3. Philippians 2:2 contains four different phrases describing unity. There is distinctiveness and overlap in each phrase. Notice that Paul seems to stress the unity of mind and truth in each. What does Paul have in mind with this emphasis? (As you answer, consider Eph. 4:1–6.)

Our new Christianity Explored course is aimed at those interested in learning more about Christianity, those needing a refresher on the core fundamentals of the faith and those who would like to help others learn about Jesus.
Over seven sessions, guests will read Mark's Gospel to find out more about the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ.
The structure of each session is simple: a short Bible study, a talk and a discussion based on the talk.

We'll be providing pizza and a relaxed environment so we can explore what Christianity is all about.
It's not a sprint, its a gentle marathon. We'll be running each session once a month for the next 7 months to give you time to think about everything we learn in each session, and come back with any questions you might have.

Christmas Carol Service
It's that time of the year again!
Join us for our annual Christmas Community Carol Service.
You are warmly invited to come along to kick off the carol service season with our traditional style carol service, as we get ready to celebrate Christmas.

Prayer Evening -
Wednesday 4th December from 7:30pm
Join us for our next open prayer time where we bring our praise and requests to God. It's a relaxed space where we begin with talking about the things we would like to prayer about. We then pray together and lift people and situations to the Lord for His work to be done.
