Book of Daniel

This month we start our new series in the book of Daniel. We will be looking through Daniel 1 & Daniel 2.
Daniel 1:1–21 shows us how a sovereign God accomplishes his purposes and achieves his victory by sending Daniel and his three friends into exile in Babylon. The challenge for Christians today is how we engage with the culture, whilst remaining true to the challenge of not being of the culture.

In Daniel 2:1–49, we see that God is the God of gods and Lord of kings because he is the revealer of mysteries. We find that God is faithful to us in our everyday lives, inspiring us to rightly know God, in order that we may seek His wisdom through revelation of scripture and the Holy Spirit.
